Our local loon watchers have reported that our resident loons have been sitting on their nest on the loon raft pretty consistently for about the past week. Typical incubation time is about 28 days, so we’ll hope for a successful hatch late June or early July.
Until then, please give the nesting raft W I D E berth (100′ or more) so as not to upset the expectant parents.
