The Maine DOT has prepared an On-Demand Public Meeting about plans for the Mountain Division rail trail conversion that will pass by our neighborhood near the north end of Notch Rd. (This “on-demand meeting” is actually just a DOT website you can view any time that outlines the DOT’s plans for the project.)
The Friends of the Mountain Division Trail (www.fotmdt.org) encourages local residents to view the meeting and give feedback on the DOT website. By participating in this meeting you can share your thoughts about the effects, positive or negative, you think this project may have on our community regarding nearby recreational opportunities and benefits to local businesses.
