A lake association in New Hampshire had a nasty and expensive(!) episode with cyanobacteria. The story of Lake Kanasatka, about four times the size of Clemons Pond, provides a good lesson for us regarding the importance of controlling the runoff from our properties and the pond’s entire watershed.
